Active Holidays 2025!

This Elaphite Islands Multi-Sports Holiday offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, set against the stunning backdrop of Croatia’s Adriatic coast. Guests will experience a variety of outdoor activities, including biking through olive groves, paddleboarding in peaceful bays, and sea kayaking to explore hidden coves. The itinerary also includes hiking on scenic island trails and opportunities to unwind or take in the historic charm of Dubrovnik. Each island visited Sipan, Lopud, and Kolocep brings its own unique landscapes and local culture, making this an active yet enriching island-hopping escape.

Day 1 – Arrival and Journey to Sipan Island

Once you arrive in Dubrovnik, make your way to Gruz Harbour for a scheduled group meetup at 4:00 p.m. A member of our local team will be there to welcome you, hand over your ferry tickets, and assist with boarding the 4:30 p.m. ferry. The journey to Sipan takes around 1 hour 15 minutes. Later in the evening, you’ll meet your guide and fellow travellers for a relaxed introduction to the week ahead. Experience a slice of local life by joining or watching a game of bocce, a popular island pastime that brings people together at the end of the day.

Day 2 – Biking through Olive Groves

Start your cycling adventure along the peaceful road connecting the island's two villages: Sudurad and Luka Sipanska. Ride past centuries-old villas and vast olive groves - Sipan holds a record for the number of olive trees relative to its size! With virtually no traffic, it’s the perfect setting for discovering quiet chapels and stopping at small family-owned farms to try homemade olive oil, wine, and traditional treats.

Meals: Breakfast

Activity: Cycling, 2–3 hrs, easy to moderate pace

Day 3 – Paddleboarding in a Peaceful Bay

Time to hit the water for your first paddleboarding session! Whether you're new or experienced, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is a fun way to enjoy the sea and improve your balance. We’ll glide across the sheltered bay of Luka Sipanska, with plenty of opportunities to pause for a swim or simply float and soak in the sun.

Meals: Breakfast

Activity: SUP, approx. 2 hrs, moderate effort

Day 4 – Sea Kayaking Adventure

Explore the outer reaches of the Elaphiti Islands by kayak. Departing from Luka Sipanska, we’ll paddle westward to the small, uninhabited islets of Jakljan, Tajan, and Olipa. These hidden gems offer untouched coastlines, quiet beaches only accessible by small craft, and crystal-clear waters perfect for a swim or snorkel break.

Meals: Breakfast

Activity: Kayaking, approx. 2 hrs, moderate

Day 5 – Leisure Day or Optional Dubrovnik Visit

Take the day at your own pace. Whether it’s relaxing on the beach, going for a gentle hike, or getting back on the paddleboard, this is your time. Alternatively, you can head to Dubrovnik to explore its historic old town, walk the city walls, or even take a short boat ride to Lokrum Island, home to scenic gardens, ruins, and a salty lake known as the “Dead Sea.” Return to the island in the evening for a laid-back night with the group.

Meals: Breakfast

Day 6 – Island-Hopping: Biking and Hiking on Lopud

Begin with a brief cycle back to Sudurad, where your guide will help you board the ferry to Lopud Island. Spend the day discovering Lopud’s peaceful trails, ancient lookout points, and small stone chapels tucked into the landscape. Walk down to Sunj Beach - a rare sandy shore in the Adriatic - and relax at seaside cafés, some of which offer swings and hammocks for a unique island vibe. Return by ferry to Sipan and cycle back to your accommodation.

Meals: Breakfast

Activity: Walking 2–3 hrs, easy; Ferry: 15 min each way

Day 7 – Final Adventure on Kolocep Island

Ride once again to Sudurad and catch the ferry to Kolocep. This car-free island offers dramatic coastal views, rocky cliffs, and rich marine life. As you walk across the island, you’ll pass relics from different eras: ancient chapels, the remains of basilicas, summer homes from Dubrovnik’s noble era, and even a Napoleonic fort. End the day by returning to Sipan for your final evening — a perfect time to share memories from the trip with your new travel companions.

Meals: Breakfast

Activity: Walking approx. 2 hrs, easy; Ferry: 40 min each way

Day 8 – Departure Day

For guests flying out later in the day, you’re welcome to store your luggage safely while enjoying your last few hours on the island. When the time comes, we’ll organize your transfer to the ferry so you can head back to Dubrovnik stress-free and filled with great memories.
