Day 1 - Arrival - Welcome to the Maltese Islands
Depart Shannon at 16:55. Arrival at Malta International Airport at 21:35. You will be met by our local representative and transferred by coach to the hotel for check-in.
Day 2 - Full Day Tour: Mdina, Rabat, Ħad-Dingli & Mosta
Breakfast at the hotel. Following breakfast, we depart by coach for a full-day excursion that takes you through some of Malta’s most historic towns and most impressive viewpoints, combining culture, history, and scenic landscapes in one carefully curated route.
The experience begins in Mdina, the former capital known as the “Silent City.” A guided walk introduces its narrow medieval streets, fortified walls, and elegant palaces, offering a true step back in time.
From here, the tour continues to nearby Rabat, where clients will explore the underground burial complex of the St. Paul's Catacombs, one of the island’s most significant early Christian sites.
Lunch will be served at Bottegin Palazzo Xara, a characterful restaurant set within a historic building, offering traditional Maltese cuisine in an atmospheric setting.
In the afternoon, the route continues into the countryside for a scenic stop at Ħad-Dingli, where the island’s highest cliffs provide dramatic coastal views and excellent photo opportunities.
The final visit of the day is to Mosta, home to the impressive Mosta Dome. Entry is included to this iconic church, renowned for its enormous unsupported dome and remarkable wartime history.
Day 3 - Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure
Day 4 - Full Day Tour of Valletta
Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s excursion explores the historic capital city of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Knights of St. John.
During the guided walking tour, you will discover Valletta’s elegant streets, panoramic viewpoints, historic squares, and impressive baroque architecture while learning about the city’s rich history and cultural importance.

Free time will also be available for shopping, cafés, or independent exploration within the city.
Day 5 - Half Day Tour at Marsaxlokk & Blue Grotto
Breakfast at the hotel. This half-day excursion takes you to the picturesque southern region of Malta, combining traditional fishing village life with some of the island’s most impressive natural and prehistoric sites.
The morning begins in Marsaxlokk, a charming fishing village known for its colourful luzzu boats, waterfront promenade, and relaxed atmosphere. Clients will have time to stroll along the harbour and experience the authentic local lifestyle.
The tour continues to the southern coast for a visit to the spectacular Blue Grotto, where crystal-clear waters and dramatic sea caves create one of Malta’s most iconic natural attractions. An included boat trip will take you inside the caves (weather permitting), offering close-up views of the rock formations and vibrant blue waters.
The excursion also includes entrance to the nearby prehistoric temple complex of Ħaġar Qim, one of Malta’s most important archaeological sites, set on a hill overlooking the sea.
Day 6 - Full Day Tour in Gozo
Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s full-day excursion takes you to the sister island of Malta, Gozo, known for its greener landscapes, dramatic coastline, and rich cultural heritage.
After an early departure and ferry crossing, the tour continues across the island with visits to some of Gozo’s most scenic and historic highlights. A key visit of the day is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Ġgantija Temples, one of the oldest free-standing stone structures in the world, offering a fascinating insight into prehistoric Malta.
During the day, you will also enjoy a wine tasting experience featuring local Gozitan wines, providing a taste of the island’s emerging wine culture in a relaxed setting.
The itinerary combines cultural discovery, panoramic viewpoints, and time to appreciate Gozo’s natural beauty, before returning to Malta in the late afternoon.
Day 7 - Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure

After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred privately to Malta International Airport.
Pickup from the hotel will be arranged approximately two hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.

Restaurant Bottegin Palazzo Xara
Palazzo Xara is a historical building in the winding narrow streets of Rabat, the suburb village of the old capital city of Mdina. This imposing building was constructed by the Maltese noble family Xara in the beginning of the 18th Century after the earthquake of 1693.
Its style reflects the trends of the time when Baroque architecture was at its peak. The architect was influenced by renowned engineers Mederico Blonell and Francois Mondion, who designed many imposing buildings in Malta.
In the lower level of the building one can find The Bistro, The Baroque Hall, The Courtyard and the more Intimate Private Room.

Today, in the Palazzo one can loosen up while having something genuine to eat. We pride ourselves in using local genuine products. We promote local ingredients such as farm-to-table traditional cheeselets, pickled onions and sundried tomatoes and last but not least daily fresh vegetables and bread from the local markets. Experience good quality food in a modest local band club setting while the locals hangout by the bar, others would be playing snooker, accompanied by a selection of soft symphonic jazz music in order to keep the band club concept alive.
Mosta – The Heart of Malta and its Iconic Rotunda
Mosta is a lively town in the heart of Malta, famous for its impressive Rotunda (Mosta Dome) – one of the largest church domes in the world. During World War II, a bomb fell through the roof while hundreds were inside, but it never exploded – a miracle that locals still remember today. Beyond the Dome, Mosta offers a glimpse of everyday Maltese life with its busy streets, cafés, and shops.
Mosta Dome Visitors Centre
Discover the Mosta Dome Visitors Centre, located beside Malta’s iconic Rotunda of Mosta. Enjoy a captivating 11-minute digital show revealing the story behind the church’s massive unsupported dome—one of the largest in the world—and the miraculous WWII event when a bomb pierced the dome during Mass but didn’t explode. After the show, relax at The Dome Bistro, offering scenic views and a choice of set menus for lunch, featuring traditional Maltese dishes in a buffet-style experience. Shows run every 30 minutes daily and include free tastings. A perfect blend of history, architecture, and local cuisine awaits every visitor.
Valletta - the capital city
Valletta was designated European Capital of Culture for 2018. The year was inaugurated with an event called Erba' Pjazez (Four Squares), with shows focused in 4 plazas in the city – Triton Square, St. George's Square, St. John's Square, and Castille Square – along with other shows in other points. This was followed by the unveiling of a public art installation, Kif Jgħid il-Malti (Maltese Sayings), which featured a number of Maltese language proverb figured in gypsum, in order to engage linguistic heritage.
Saint John Co-Cathedral
About the Co-Cathedral
Over the years, the church was transformed from a basic Mannerist church into the most outstanding treasure. Throughout the centuries, every grand master and many knights donated gifts of high artistic value and made enormous contributions to enrich the church, with the best works of art by leading artists of the time.
The church was intended to be a landmark that could be seen from almost anywhere on the island. The church was built by the Order’s military engineer and architect Gironimo Cassar (c. 1520-93). Its austere design reflects the sombre mood of the Order after the Great Siege.
The façade is buttressed by two large bell towers topped with octagonal spires. The church is rectangular in shape with a wide nave, roofed over with a barrel vault. The oratory and the sacristy were built in 1604. The precincts also include a cemetery.
National Museum of Archaeology
