Dock in Regensburg this morning. Here, wander along its cobblestone lanes, taking a journey through the ages as you explore the historic streets, medieval buildings and cultural sites on your guided walking tour.

DAY 4 Passau, Linz – New Years Day
On this New Year’s Day morning, arrive in the ‘Three Rivers City’ of Passau, where the rivers Inn and Ilz join the Danube. Join an optional tour to Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic, or travel to Salzburg and enjoy the sights from ‘The Sound of Music’. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxing sailing day to Linz.

Dock in Melk and join a local guide for a tour through Melk Abbey, an active Benedictine monastery since 1089. This magnifcent abbey is home to around two dozen practising monks. Later, cruise through the Wachau Valley to Dürnstein, the town overlooked by the hilltop ruins of the castle where King Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned back in 1192.

DAY 6 Vienna
