2nd Day PALERMO / MONREALE / MONDELLO / PALERMO

Breakfast in hotel and full day excursion to Palermo with its beautiful historical city centre: the Cathedrale, Palatine Chapel, etc. continue to Moreale and visit one of the main example treasure of art of Byzantine’s Mosaic. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon shot walking tour through the catacombs and the famous daily Market of “Capo”. Dinner and overnight in hotel Palermo area.

3rd Day PALERMO / ERICE / SELINUNTE

Breakfast in hotel and departure to Erice, small Medieval village perched on the Eryx Mountain that overlooking the Egadi’s Island and Trapani. Panoramic walking tour of Erice with the Normand Castle (outside) – Pepoli Castle (outside) and the Medieval Caslter of Balio (outside). Continue to Selinunte and tasting of the Marsala’s wine. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon visit the oldest town of Selinunte: the Colline Orientali and the Greek Acropolis. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

4th Day SELINUNTE / AGRIGENTO / PIAZZA ARMERINA / CATANIA

After the breakfast departure to Agreigento and guided visit of the famous Temples’ Valley: the main temples of Concordia – Hercoles – Juno. Continue to Piazza Armerina and visit the Villa Romana del Casale knows for its extraordinary Mosaics. Accommodation in hotel in the area of Catania, dinner and overnight.

5th Day CATANA / SIRACUSA / NOTO / CATANIA

Morning dedicated to the visit of Syracuse with the archaeological’s area with the Greek Theatre, the latomie, the Roman amphitheatre. Afternoon dedicated to the visit of NOTO – the main example of Baroc in Sicily a nice walking tour through churches and the main Palace of the nobles. Back to the hotel, Dinner and overnight.

6th Day CATANIA / ETNA / TAORMINA / CATANIA

Excursion to Etna Mountain and Taormina:

Excursion to Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. Bus ride up to 1,800m and visit the extinct craters of the Silvestri Mountains. (Possibility of ascent up to 2,800m, the final crater optional to be adjusted on site). Continue to Taormina, an ancient Greek city that has today become a magnificent tourist resort clinging to the slopes of Mount Tauro. Visit the Greco-Roman theater, place of tragedies and gladiator fights. Free time. Dinner accommodation in the Catania region.

7th Day CATANIA / CASTELBUONO / CEFALU / PALERMO

Depart to Castelbuono. Walk through the city center with tasting of local products and visit to the medieval Ventimiglia Castle. Free time for lunch. Continues with a visit to Cefalù, a picturesque medieval town. Discovery of the Cathedral whose large apse vault is entirely covered by the majestic image of Christ "almighty". Free time. Dinner accommodation in the Palermo area.

8th Day PALERMO

Transfer to the Airport.
