Day 2 - Puerto de la Cruz

Free Time in Puerto de la Cruz

Time: Full Day

Spend your first full day settling into Puerto de la Cruz and enjoying the relaxed pace of your Tenerife holiday. You may wish to: 

• Take a leisurely stroll through the town 
• Explore the great selection of bars 
• Ramble along with several nearby beaches 
• Relax by the pool 
• Walk down to Playa Jardín, one of the area’s best-known coastal spots

Day 3 - Santa Cruz and La Laguna

Guided Half-Day Tour of Santa Cruz and La Laguna

Time: Half Day

Our half-day guided tour begins in Santa Cruz, one of Spain’s busiest ports and the joint capital of the Canary Islands. 

We’ll then travel to San Cristóbal de La Laguna: 

• A UNESCO World Heritage Site 
• Admired for well-preserved colonial architecture
• Its distinctive grid street layout which, influenced many Latin American cities 
• We’ll take a leisurely walk through La Laguna’s charming plazas, historic churches and atmospheric streets before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 4 - Mount Teide - Volcanic Scenery and Spain's Highest Peak

This morning, we’ll will set out on a guided excursion to Teide National Park.

• Home to Mount Teide, Spain’s highest peak

• A memorable highlight of your holiday to Tenerife

Day 5 - Free Time in Tenerife

Today is free for you to take Tenerife at your own pace. You may wish to: 

• Spend more time exploring Puerto de la Cruz 
• Visit attractions outside the town centre, like the Botanical Gardens

Day 6 - North West Tenerife - Icod de los Vinos and Garachico

Half-Day Guided Tour

Time: Half Day

Travel to Icod de los Vinos: 

• Home to the ancient dragon tree 
• One of Tenerife’s most recognisable symbols

Continue to Garachico:

• Considered one of the most beautiful towns in the Canary Islands
• Learn about Garachico’s history as the island’s former main port, before it was destroyed by a volcanic eruption in the 18th century

Day 7 - Explore Tenerife at Your Own Pace

At Leisure

Time: Full Day

On your final full day, you are free to relax and enjoy your surroundings. You may wish to: 

• Walk into Puerto de la Cruz for some last-minute souvenirs 
• Relax at the Lago Martiánez saltwater pools
