Location

The purpose-built resort of Playa de las Americas is on the southwest coast of Tenerife. The area is largely known for its clubbing and nightlife scene, but its selection of sandy beaches and year-round sunshine have also kept it popular. In addition, you’ll find duty-free shopping, tapas restaurants, the great Siam waterpark, and the glamorous Los Cristianos resort nearby. Whether you want to hurtle down a waterslide, hop on a jetski or dance all night to 90s club classics, Playa de las Americas has you covered.

Facilities

These contemporary apartments are well-stocked for cooking, with utensils, a fridge and a hotplate to get you started. You’ll also have your own balcony or terrace where you can dine outside. At the centre of the complex, there’s a pool and a mini pool for kids and they’re both surrounded by sunloungers.

Rooms

All apartments here include a 32-inch TV, safety deposit box*, balcony or terrace and a kitchenette with a fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster and kettle. You can pick between a 1-bedroom apartment and a 2-bedroom apartment.

The Garajonay Apartments are an ideal base in Playa de las Americas. The beach is five minutes’ walk away and there are bars and restaurants even closer.

The Garajonay Apartments are simple and modern, with a good self-catering set-up and a decent-sized pool. A five-minute stroll takes you to the black-sand Playa de Troya. On the way there, you’ll find a selection of shops, pubs and eateries.

A restaurant-lined port and the Playa del Bobo are a little further on – at 20 minutes’ walk or a 10-minute cab ride.
