Les Arcs ski holidays
Part of the high-altitude Paradiski area, with terrain to suit all tastes.
- Big area with everything from tree-lined runs to glacier skiing.
- Step straight from the door to the slopes in lots of the accommodation.
- Varied villages with ski schools, shops and bars all within easy reach.
Variety is the key to Les Arcs’ popularity. There’s everything from tree-lined trails to open slopes, with an excellent snow park to boot – so you’ll have tonnes to keep you going, whatever your level. Each village has a beginner zone and easy blues for learners, while the Peisey-Vallandry and the Glacier du Varet areas keep the challenges coming for more advanced skiers. Eager for more? Catch the cable car over to La Plagne to explore the rest of the 425km Paradiski area.
The resort’s split into several ski-in, ski-out villages. Starting things off, it's laid-back family-fave Arc 1600, which was the first of the bunch to be built. Bar-filled Arc 1800 is home to the après scene, and for quick access to the glacier, Arc 2000 is your spot. Or for that traditional mountain feel, try Arc 1950. It may be the newest, but its wooden buildings are oh so alpine. And it’s good news on the eco front too. The whole resort has received B Corp status – that’s an international award that recognises environmentally friendly companies.
When you’re not on the slopes, keep things cool with a visit to France’s biggest Igloo Village in Arc 2000. Or if you’ve got kids, whizz down water slides and splash in swimming pools at the Mile8 leisure centre in Arc 1800.

3* Hotel Club MMV Altitude, Arc 2000
In Les Arcs, France
- Take a dip in the indoor pool or enjoy the spa.
- Kids will have a blast in the hotel-run kids’ club.
- Lots going on including live entertainment
The Hotel Altitude’s a quality pick in Arc 2000. You’re just a 6-minute walk from the closest lifts, and it’s 3 minutes to the resort centre, so everything you need is on hand. When you’re not out and about, step onto the south-facing sun terrace for a superb view of Mont Blanc, or get cosy beside the open fireplace in the lounge.
Exposed brick, wood panelling and warm colours give this hotel a real alpine feel, and there are modern furnishings throughout. Like the terrace, the restaurant faces Mont Blanc, so you can enjoy buffet breakfasts and dinners each day with a view of the slopes.
Adults can relax in the Ômea Spa and make the most of the indoor pool, hammam and two hot tubs. Or, book in for a Décleor treatment for something extra special. Families aren’t forgotten either, with a hotel-run kids club where kids aged 18 months to 17 years can get stuck into a ton of fun activities. And teens have access to the Squ@t during the French school holidays too – a social hub where they can hang out with friends.
Special offer: Winter 2025/26 – All inclusive upgrade: Book a holiday departing after 21 March 2026 and your stay will be upgraded to all inclusive free of charge. This offer applies to all guests and will be automatically added at the time of booking. T&Cs apply.
