Aprés Ski
With over 50 restaurants in the village, plus lunch spots on the mountain, you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to eating out in Pinzolo. Classic Italian is on the cards in most places, with plenty of pizza, antipasti and pasta to keep your energy levels topped up.
Pinzolo isn’t party central – think after-ski aperitifs and antipasti rather than DJs and dancing. There are a couple of piste-side spots if you fancy a drink straight from the slopes, or you can ditch your gear and check out one of the low-key bars in the centre.
Hotel Garni La Palu
Pinzolo, Italy
- All the charm of a traditional, family-run hotel.
- The lift’s quick and easy to reach.
- A good pick if you prefer simple and wholesome hotels.
When you arrive, you’re met with the epitome of a traditional looking Trentino hotel – complete with the wraparound balconies you imagine when you picture an alpine stay. Inside Garni La Palu, things have a real vintage vibe, which will pack a punch of nostalgia for some of the more seasoned skiers. Warm coloured, pine furnishings and some patterned upholstery complete the classic look and up the cosiness too.
When it comes to skiing, you‘re well positioned for getting to the mountain in the mornings. Just 6-minutes away, it’s a short walk to the Funivie Pinzolo gondola. It’s simple too, just head down the main road and it’s on your right – you’ll be at the top of Doss del Sabion in no time.
Although there isn’t a huge list of facilities here, Garni La Palu’s a family run hotel, so you can expect a warm, wholesome après experience. The bar is the place to be and there’s a sun terrace too. Take a seat and settle in for a fun night of swapping stories and enjoying some local tipples.
