Location
Paphos is steeped in ancient history and mythology. It's the reputed birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek god of love and beauty. You can visit the House of Dionysus, one of the most fascinating tourist destinations on the island. Dionysus was the god of wine, pleasure, and festivity. Visit the large limestone murals at the back of the house to learn about his mythological adventures and battles through the underworld. This is a real treat for art and history buffs.
Facilities
There are two outdoor pools and a children's pool here, plus another one indoors. Come the evening, the buffet restaurant offers international dishes, with a children's menu. The entertainment all takes place in the lounge area or on the terrace, and you can expect regular live music two or three times a week during the summer season.
