This holiday is graded as a leisurely walking holiday. While this holiday is suitable for beginners a good level of fitness is still required for this holiday. Hikes range from 7.5km to 10km. Expect to be walking between 3 to 4 hours per day with on mostly flat ground with occasional ascents of up to 200m. Hikes will be on mostly good paths with some gravel and rocky terrain with cliffside walks.
Malta & Gozo

Day 1 – Travel to Malta
Fly to Malta and meet your local guide before taking the ferry to the peaceful island of Gozo. After checking into the hotel, enjoy a welcome dinner with your group.
Day 2 – Sannap Cliffs to Xlendi Bay
A scenic 9km coastal walk along the Sannap Cliffs, ending in the seaside village of Xlendi for an included lunch. Afternoon free before dinner.
Day 3 – Dwejra Bay Loop & the Inland Sea
A 7.6km loop walk exploring Gozo’s rugged coastline, the Inland Sea, and Dwejra Bay. Optional swim included. After a bakery stop, ferry back to Malta for hotel check-in and dinner.
Day 4 – Mellieha to Golden Bay
A 10km walk from Mellieha to Ghadira Bay, Popeye Village, Majjistral Nature Park, and Golden Bay. Lunch included, followed by a free afternoon and evening back at the hotel.
Day 5 – At Leisure
A relaxing day in St Paul’s Bay. Enjoy the pool, stroll the promenade, or explore further—your guide can suggest options like visiting Valletta.
Day 6 – Marsaskala to Marsaxlokk
An 8km coastal walk across the Delimara Peninsula, finishing in Marsaxlokk for an included lunch. Return to the hotel for the evening.
Day 7 – Dingli Cliffs to Mdina
A 10km route from Rabat through Buskett Gardens to the dramatic Dingli Cliffs, finishing at the historic city of Mdina. Enjoy a tasting of Kinnie and pastizzi before free time to explore.
Day 8 – Return Home
Transfer to the airport for the flight back to Dublin, taking home memories of Malta’s landscapes, flavours, and warm Mediterranean spirit.
