Kenya

Nairobi

2 Nights

Nairobi is the vibrant capital city of Kenya, offering a unique blend of urban life and wildlife experiences. Known as the "Green City in the Sun," Nairobi is one of the few cities in the world where you can experience safaris just a short drive from the city center. The Nairobi National Park, located just on the outskirts, allows visitors to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and zebras, with the city skyline as a backdrop. Nairobi is also home to important cultural sites such as the Karen Blixen Museum, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (which cares for orphaned elephants), and the bustling Maasai Market. With a rich history, diverse culture, and proximity to nature, Nairobi is an exciting gateway to the rest of Kenya’s treasures.

Masai Mara

2 Nights

Masai Mara is one of the most renowned wildlife reserves in the world, famous for its spectacular wildlife sightings and the annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Situated in southwestern Kenya, the Masai Mara is part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem, which allows for a seamless flow of wildlife between the two regions. The reserve is home to the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos—as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous bird species. Its vast open plains and iconic acacia trees create the perfect backdrop for safaris, where visitors can witness predators in action and incredible wildlife interactions. The Mara is also known for its rich Maasai culture, with opportunities to visit traditional villages and learn about the customs of the indigenous people.

Amboseli

2 Nights

Amboseli National Park is a quintessential safari destination, offering stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, often seen grazing in the foreground of the mountain’s snow-capped summit. Amboseli is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and over 400 species of birds. Its diverse ecosystems, ranging from open plains to swamps and acacia woodlands, support a rich variety of flora and fauna. Amboseli’s clear skies and breathtaking landscapes make it one of the most photogenic parks in Kenya. The park also offers cultural experiences with the Maasai people, who live alongside the park and have a deep connection to the land.

Lake Nakuru

1 Night

Lake Nakuru National Park is a stunning destination known for its spectacular flocks of flamingos, which transform the lake’s shoreline into a pink-hued spectacle. Located in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos, particularly during the rainy season. The park is also home to a wide variety of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, leopards, and a variety of antelope species. The surrounding forests and hills offer great viewpoints for bird watching and wildlife spotting. Lake Nakuru is also an important conservation area, with efforts to protect both black and white rhinos. Its beautiful landscapes and rich wildlife make it a perfect destination for nature lovers and photographers alike.
