Majorca Holidays
Holidays to Majorca take you to the largest of Spain's Balearic Islands. Fly direct from Dublin, Cork, or Shannon to this Mediterranean hotspot and discover picturesque harbours, white sand beaches, and great nightlife. Ideal for couples, families, and young travellers, Majorca is an island that has it all.
The big one
The name ‘Majorca’ comes from the Latin meaning ‘Large Island’, and that’s exactly what Majorca is. It’s the giant of the Balearics, with many different destinations to choose from. Up on the north coast is Puerto Pollensa, located away from the main crowds, while the southwest is famous for its party atmosphere. Over in the east, Cala d’Or and Cala Bona offer popular beaches and Mediterranean views.
Sunny days
Majorca’s location means that the island experiences a hot Mediterranean climate, with warm and sunny days throughout most of the year. Beach days in Majorca are one of the best ways to enjoy this beautiful weather. Fortunately, there are plenty to choose from. Majorca’s coastline is dotted with beaches, with a blend of breezy sands perfect for watersports, and protected bays with calm waters.
Evening entertainment
While much of Majorca is very peaceful and serene, the west coast has a well-earned reputation for being a party hotspot. Magaluf especially is leading the way in Balearics nightlife, with live music venues, energetic beach clubs, and karaoke bars. And even if drinking and dancing isn’t your thing, the evening is still one of the best times of the day on the west coast, with incredible sunsets.
