Benalmadena Holidays
Holidays to Benalmadena are all about choice. This upmarket resort is bursting at the seams with a variety of beaches, tonnes of children's attractions, and an old town and marina to explore.
A Costa del Sol staple
Torremolinos’ next-door neighbour is a gracious and well-loved resort on Spain’s Costa del Sol. It lines up modern hotel complexes and apartment blocks along the 10-kilometre seafront area called Benalmadena Costa, but also packs in plenty of Andalusian appeal in the Spanish part of town.
Tons of beaches
Benalmadena has around a dozen beaches to its name, from secluded spots to busy stretches. The most in-demand sands are at the Blue Flag Santa Ana Beach. Just next door is Torre Bermeja, one of the best places to hire boats and jet-skis. And there’s a busy promenade that runs behind Benalmadena’s central beaches, all the way to the swanky marina, where people take a break from the sun.
Arroyo de la Miel
Benalmadena scores high on Spanish sophistication. The oldest part of town, Benalmadena Pueblo, is a quiet tangle of cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. There’s also the Arroyo de la Miel area. As well as shops and restaurants, it has Tivoli World – a theme park with 40 rides – and a cable car that takes you to the summit of Calamorro Mountain.
World-class attractions
There’s no shortage of days out in and around Benalmadena. In town, you’ve got the Sea Life aquarium and the Selwo Marina, while Parque Paloma is a landscaped garden teeming with wild animals. Just a 25-minute drive away is Málaga, home to an impressive Picasso museum.
4* Holiday Village Costa del Sol
In Benalmadena, Costa del Sol, Andalucía, Spain
There are heaps of spots to soak in at the super-sized Holiday Village Costa del Sol – from the nearby sandy swathe to the pools at the Beach Club.
This place is perched on the outskirts of Benalmadena, which means it’s got the space to sprawl out. As such, you can expect an Aerial Adventure course, two playgrounds, four restaurants (themed restaurants open from 1st April - Oct) and a spa with a pool. And if you're looking for a golf holiday, this hotel's a great pick – there are greens within easy reach.
A beach club (Open from 1st April - 31st October) across the road is the hotel’s trump card. It adds more pools into the mix, including ones with slides, a pirate ship and a wave machine. There’s a restaurant down here, too. Plus, there's a main buffet to dine at, and chill-out spots like the outside courtyard seating area and the lobby.
A TUI rep will make visits to your hotel. Holidays here also come with 24/7 support on the TUI app and by phone. Find out more about our service while you're away.
Just so you know, this hotel does not accept stag or hen parties.

When it comes to keeping busy, this place has activities like archery and tennis on offer, as well as loads of games and shows. Pool-wise, you’ve got three to pick from – an indoor one, a massive outdoor one, and a wave pool at the beach club next door.
