4* Accra Beach Hotel & Spa
Barbados, Caribbean
This hotel's just footsteps from one of the best beaches in Barbados, so sunbathing days are in the bag.
The Accra Beach Hotel & Spa is set on Rockley Beach, a ribbon of soft sand that TripAdvisor users refer to as one of the best in the world.
There are a couple of pools and three restaurants, as well as regular live music and cocktail parties. Plus, you’re just a few minutes’ walk from Hastings when you fancy getting out and about.
Location
Rockley occupies a little niche between St Lawrence and Hastings, on the south-west coast of Barbados. It's a quiet residential neighbourhood and one of the island’s most tranquil retreats. Rockley is justly proud of its immaculate beach, also known as Accra Beach. Here the clustered sea grape and casuarina trees offer shade and screen you from the various bars and eateries.
Facilities
The main pool takes centre stage here. It’s huge, and comes teamed with a swim-up bar, a hidden cave, and a shallow area for children to splash about in. Elsewhere, there’s an adults-only pool and a restaurant count that includes an à la carte that serves dishes from the Pacific Rim.
Rooms
All rooms here are provided with air-conditioning so you can keep your room cool during your stay. Choose from a double room, or for a bit extra try a double room with sea view and balcony.
