Marella Explorer 2 is Marella Cruises’ adults-only ship, designed for relaxed, refined cruising with a stylish edge. Originally launched in 1995 and refurbished before joining the Marella fleet in 2019, this ship focuses on laid-back luxury with plenty of quiet spaces to unwind. The dress code – The onboard dress code varies by venue and can be broken down into Beachwear, Casual and Smart.Beachwear is relaxed and ideal for daytime dining, though footwear is required.

Casual includes shorts, tops, sundresses and relaxed evening outfits.

Smart evenings call for a polished look — think dresses, skirts, tailored shorts or trousers with shirts or polo shirts. Smart trainers, shoes or sandals are welcome, while sportswear, flip-flops and non-tailored shorts are best left in the cabin.
