Day 1-
Depart Cork at 05:50 am, arrive at Faro Airport at 08:25 am
Transfer to Fatima, with a comfort stop along the way
Check-in at the hotel
Dinner and overnight stay in Fátima
Day 2-
Breakfast at the hotel
Orientation tour of the Sanctuary area, including:
- Rosary Basilica
- Graves of Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia
- Holy Trinity Basilica
Return to hotel for lunch
Afternoon free to relax or explore on your own
Dinner at the hotel
Evening Rosary & Torchlight Procession
Day 3-
Breakfast at the hotel
Visit Aljustrel to see:
- Homes of Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta
Visit Valinhos, including:
- Site of Our Lady’s apparition in 1916
- Lucia’s garden well, where the Angel appeared
Opportunity to participate in the Outdoor Stations of the Cross
Return to hotel for lunch
Dinner at the hotel
9:30 pm – Rosary and Candlelight Procession
Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 4-
Free day for optional activities, or join one of the optional tours (extra cost):
1. Nazare & Batalha – approximately 1 hour from Fatima:
- Visit Batalha, a magnificent Dominican Monastery built to give thanks to Our Lady after the Portuguese victory at the Battle of Aljubarrota in 1385
- Continue to Nazare, a charming traditional Portuguese coastal town famous for its fishing heritage and stunning ocean views
- Packed lunch will be provided from the hotel
2. Coimbra – historic university town and former capital of Portugal:
- Visit Sr Lucia’s Carmelite Museum, which tells the story of her life and devotion
- Enjoy a guided city tour of Coimbra, taking in its historic streets, university buildings, and cultural highlights
3. Porto Day Tour – approximately 2 hours journey:
- Guided city tour of Porto, including key landmarks and architectural highlights
- Free time to explore the city independently, shop, or enjoy the riverside atmosphere
Day 5-
Breakfast at the hotel
Free time in Fatima for optional activities
Travel to Faro Airport for departure
Depart Faro at 20:20 pm, arrive in Cork at 22:55 pm
