SCANDINAVIA AND THE NORDIC COUNTRIES
Scandinavia is commonly used to refer to the Nordic countries however the term Scandinavia consists of only three countries: Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
The Nordic region includes not only Norway, Sweden, Denmark, but also Finland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Svalbard and the Åland Islands.

Scandinavia on one hand is full of medieval towns and Vikings relics but on the other hand it’s famous for its stylish capitals, art and music. Norway’s fjords are stunning and are part of this peninsula’s diverse nature. The cities and capitals in this region are very well connected by train, car and ferry or cruise.
The Nordic countries offer a vast array of experiences either peaceful or adventurous. These countries are extremely alluring because of its idyllic farmlands and lush forests where you’d want to get lost; its magnificent lakes, waterfalls and fjords; and its scenic islands and volcanoes that are absolutely impressive.
