Fuerteventura
Lying south of Lanzarote and separated only by a narrow stretch of water, Fuerteventura is the closet Canary Island to the African Coast and boasts of three thousand hours of sunshine a year! Delicate rolling sands, enormous dunes and expansive beaches, have firmly established the island as a beach lover’s paradise! Watersports are in abundance and annually thousands of surfers, windsurfers and divers descend on the island to revel in its natural glory. The Capital, Puerto del Rosario, is a lovely old harbour town with typical shops and local restaurants. A restful Island which is blissfully slow-paced, Fuerteventura has something for everyone.
