DAY 1 - Welcome to Chile

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your  luxurious hotel. Admire its unique style combining early 20th century with neoclassical French architectural influences in an artistic homage to the city’s history and culture. Treat yourself to a massage in the spa or sip a refreshing cocktail at the ninth floor Sky Bar before exploring the hotel’s elevated terrace of the Parque Forestal for a forest escape alongside the hotel. DAY 2 - The Sights of Santiago

Discover the sites of Santiago with a Local Expert from Chilean University, San Francisco Church and the Santa Lucia Hill, the site of Santiago’s foundation in 1541, to the bustling Plaza de Armas and the baroque details and gilded columns of Santiago Metropolitan Cathedral. Venture to the bohemian Bellavista district before ascending San Cristóbal Hill where a brilliant white statue of the Virgen de la Inmaculada Concepción towers atop the summit and leads you to 360-degree views. Enjoy a local Chilean seafood lunch at this restaurant, located in front of extraordinary water gardens, nestled between a viewpoint and the pedestrian walkway that runs along Avenida Bicentenario.

DAY 3 - Valparaiso and Wine Country

DAY 4 - Fly to Buenos Aires

DAY 5 - Beautiful Buenos Aires

DAY 6 - Pampas, Estancias and Gauchos

Delve into the world of “gauchos,” South American cowboys at a traditional countryside “estancia” ranch. Meet the local gauchos before delving into more of the culture your way. Hear the clink of silver spurs and admire the leather chaps and crops made of braided leather on a horseback ride through the rugged wilderness, gaining insight into the traditions. Or, join a lower-paced guided walking tour for a window into life on a working ranch and traditions that have been passed down since the 1920s. Conclude the day with a show of horsemanship skills and folk music paired with a succulent asado lunch and traditional mate tea, often enjoyed communally after a tough day’s work in the fields.

DAY 7 - The Falls of Iguassu

DAY 10 - Exploring Rio de Janeiro

DAY 11 - A Farewell to Rio de Janeiro
